Blue Devils Advance to Sweet Sixteen

Led by a stellar defensive effort by senior Mike Avvisato, and an almost perfect execution of its offense, Old Forge advanced to the Sweet 16 of the PIAA Class 1A Championships with a 54-46 victory over Sayre at the Insalaco Arena on the campus of Marywood University on Friday night.
The Blue Devils will face District 3 runner-up Greenwood (24-3) on Tuesday night at a site and time to be determined.
